Titration by AgNO3
Accurately weighed about 0.2g D-(+)-Homoserine Lactone Hydrochloride sample, and dissolved in 300ml conical bottle with 50ml of deionized water, and 10 drops of potassium chromate indicator were added.
The sample was titrated with 0.1N silver nitrate standard titration solution until brick red precipitation appeared. The volume of silver nitrate standard solution consumed was recorded.
